I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Deel (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2023
Interview
It was an extremely long process (1,5m) but I was so excited at first that I didn't care.
I had 4 rounds of interviews. Met with the first TAM (twice), then a team lead and then a very cold new TAM coming from a GAFAM company. I couldn't believe how cold he was, I could literally feel that he didn't want to be there. It's such a shame cause the two other individuals I met were awesome and very friendly
As I said my last interview was very odd and turned me off completely.
Few days later, the first TAm I met called me to give me the feedback. The feedback I received was that during my last interview apparently I wasn't strong enough to turn passive candidates into active one and close deals, I was so shocked to hear that , that I couldn't even respond to it. We didn't even talk about that at all in my 4 interviews. So it was clearly a BS feedback. They clearly can't hire senior TA from developed countries, it's too expensive. They will hire people out of Romania, east Europe or latin America much cheaper.....
I was so excited to join Deel but unfortunately that will never happen
Thank you for your review. We apologize for the lengthy process. Your comments have been shared with the Talent Acquisition Team. Indeed, the candidate experience is really important to us. We are sorry you didn’t have the candidate experience you deserved and we apologize for this.

Was reached out to by a global recruiter on the team. After screening was scheduled in for an interview with the hiring manager. The meeting was cancelled a couple hours prior. After follow up, there has been no response since.
I had a first round interview with the hiring manager. It's online and the hiring manager is quite easy to talk to. They are quite responsive and communicate very quickly about the outcome.
