Interview
The interview comprised a screening, a technical interview suited to a mathematically inclined computational scientist, and a technical presentation. The total duration of in-interview time was approximately four and one half hours.
One round - Technical Interview <1h 30 min - questions from three areas: Probability Theory, Information Theory and Machine Learning Second round - Paper review Not moving to second round: most questions answered and no review was given.

Question 1
Probability theory: Bayes, conditional probability, likelihood vs log-likelihood, variables conditionally independent - example. Probability scenario to solve. Information theory: Entropy for binary, relationship with logits formula; KL divergence formula, meaning and properties.
two rounds:
first round, two people will interview you with several generation questions about your experience and CV.
In second round, that is the technique interview.
1. presentation of your previous works (based on slides)
2. questions about video coding and deep learning (especially for learned image/video coding)
