I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Apr 2017
Interview
Phone conversation. Then face to face. Meet with different people but in various settings. A few standard face to face behavioral questions interview style. Then someone takes you to lunch, you may sit with an employee and see their day to day etc. Very busy but well put together 4-5 hours. Enjoyed the team and process. 3rd party recruiter give feedback very disappointed did not get offer but I would advise anyone to interview with Delta Airlines especially within HR field.
The recruiter was unorganized and not very responsive. I went for weeks without hearing anything. Most of the interviewers was okay. One of the interviewers talked about how bad the work/ life balance was.

I applied online. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines
Interview
The interview process is more of a conversation as opposed to a Q & A session. The dialogue is rally to get a sense of who you are as a person and your values as opposed to testing your HR acumen.

Question 1
How do you keep abreast of your hr knowledge and current affairs?
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (New York, NY) in Mar 2021
Interview
The process took 3-5 months. Applied in January 2021, and was asked to do a recorded Hireview interview in February. In March, I was contacted for a video (not in person due to covid) interview with 5 different managers. Interview lasted about 3 hours with tons of STAR method behavioral questions. Was told that the next step would be an on-site interview with the direct manager. The recruiter in charge advised if not selected a notification would be messaged within 2-3 days. 3 weeks after the 3 hour interviews I decided to follow up with the recruiter as a TBNT had not been received. The recruiter said I was still in consideration but the position had been put on hold. Fast forward 2 months later I began being bombarded by a new recruiter to submit a hireview interview. I explained I had already completed this process and he stated he would look for my interview. Few weeks after that I was again asked by the same recruiter about my interest in the position at which time I reminded him I had already interviewed and had not received a response and cc’d the previous recruiter so they could coordinate on my application. After a few more weeks of silence the new recruiter then reached me via LinkedIn asking for me to apply for the position once again. I again reiterated that we had been in contact twice before with no response from him on my previous interviews at which time I was told that if no one answered me then I was likely not selected for the position. Disturbed by the this recruiters response and Deltas complete disorganization I politely requested to never ever be contacted again for a position with Delta. Needless to say I will never fly delta and will discourage people from giving such a poor company business.
