      Flight Attendant Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2014

      Interview

I filled out my application for the flight attendant position in August of 2014. About 5 days later, I was asked via email to do a video interview. FYI: I totally skipped the last question during the video interview cause I got nervous lol, but I still sent the interview in. About 3 days later I SURPRISINGLY received an email that said I would have a phone interview, and if I didn't have my passport, to email them back so that they could all me back at a later time. So that's what I did. I ordered me a passport, I DID NOT expedite it. I currently work for another airline and I knew that in August, passport processing times would be significantly shorter than at other times during the year, meaning my passport came very fast. Once I recieved my passport, I emailed them back. I recieved a call about two days later, she asked me if I was ok wearing a uniform, if I was ok relocating, and told me a few things about the position. I gave her my passport information and she invited me to F2F in Atlanta. She also help me set up my flight information. Now here's where it gets stressful. They sent me my F2F confirmation date, which at that time was about 2 weeks away. I had not received any flight info, so I emailed Delta and asked them about the flight. I did not receive anything back, so after 5 more days I emailed again. I finally recieved something back 2 days before my inerview. The guy from Delta apologized for the delay and scheduled me a flight out the next day at 530pm. This flight was delayed 5 or 6 hours. So I got to Atlanta around 12 or 1 in the morning. My interview was at 7am! And I had just arrived at the airport. Lol well, the anywoo The interview process was long, but everyone was friendly!! We were broken down into 3 groups. A B & C. In my group, we were taken into a room and watched a PowerPoint about the postion. And let me add, DELTA, in my opinion, has the best flight attendant postion out of any US airline. Ok, after the powerpoint, we all sat around for the fireside chat and were given cards with scenarios, we stood and introduced ourselves and said our scneario. We also were taken to a room to do a reach test and what not. After that we did our 2 on 1 interview. I was so nervous lol. And I know where I messed up. We were asked a lot of customer service questions, and it MUST be answered in the STAR method. I received my TBNT email about 10 days later lol. To be honest, I should have came in a business suit, instead of a black pencil skirt, blouse and a black cardigan. I also should have had my hair pulled back from my face. My nails should have been clear or neutral, or match my lipstick. I did smile a lot and interact with a lot of ppl. I'll tell you yhis though, it was a very good experience, even with all the craziness. I now have another F2F flight attendant interview in a few weeks with a different airline, and I'll not make the same mistakes twice!!

      Interview

I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.
