      Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2015

      Interview

I applied to this position on 1/15/15 and was invited to take the online assessment immediately after submitting my application. After I took the assessment it said I would be contacted by a recruiter if I was chosen to proceed in the application process. I didn't hear anything else until a little over 2 months later on 3/20/15. I received an email inviting me to a f2f interview. I chose a time slot from a list that was in the email and had my interview on 3/24/15. I was the only candidate along with two supervisors in the room. The interview was laid back, not a lot of pressure at all. They jumped right in and explained what it means to be considered Ready Reserve and how the scheduling works. After I confirmed I was still interested after hearing that information they asked questions pertaining to past work experiences with customer service, safety, personal attributes, etc... Things like, "What was most/least enjoyable about your last job?" and, "Tell us about an experience where safety measures weren't being used and how was the situation corrected.". After the session was over, which lasted about 30-40 minutes, I was asked to provide two forms of identification. One of the supervisors made copies and told me they had a full day of interviews scheduled and they would contact me if I was chosen. Two hours after I left the airport I received a call from Delta saying they wanted to offer me the position. Still have a ways to go with physical, background check, and fingerprinting, but I'm very happy to have received the offer.
