      Flight Attendant Interview

      30 Jun 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Atlanta, GA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Jun 2023

      Interview

The 2023 version of the Delta Flight Attendant interview: They will clap when you walk in...only smile when you are walking in. They DO NOT LIKE PERSONALITY. Be as simple as possible. Next they will divide you into two groups, Group A & Group B. Group A will be taken to rooms and conduct your individual face to face interview. They will emphasize on the STAR METHOD. They are literally drilling it into you. Make sure you answer in that order, if not, you aren't considered AT ALL. Next will be the cart test, make sure you are a team member, but also focus on yourself. They want you to focus on yourself when you answer the questions. The people conducting the cart test will not smile nor seem welcoming. It is the hardest room of the interview. After that, you will do the sit and reach test of the Flight Attendant jumpsuit. After that, you will go back into the cart room and PLEASE ONLY ANSWER THE FOUR QUESTIONS THEY ASK: What is your name ? Where do you currently reside? What language do you speak? What is your current job? ONLY ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS AND IN THIS ORDER. If you add anything extra, they will not select you. DO NOT MAKE A JOKE or be welcoming at all. Strict by the rules. Lastly, they will bring you in a room for info about the company. Do not ask questions, they want you to sit and be a robot. Once you've made it to the final room, they have already selected their candidates, they are just filling in time. After that, they will lie and say be on the lookout for an email for a final decision. They will already have made their decision that day. Only rejection emails are sent after that. When they release you in "zones" to depart if you are let go in Zone 1-3 YOU DID NOT GET THE JOB!!!! Zone 4 on the bubble of. a possible Zone 5 You are receiving your CJO. ONLY WEAR BLACK SUIT, HAIR IN A BUN, WEAR A WATCH, AND SIMPLE PEARLS!!!!!! Men where ONLY black suits as well. Also, if you have an "elite" job title, you will not be selected....water down your job position as possible. Make sure you meet every member in the room. They want you obsessed with Delta and with their "Talent Team." I hope this helps a lot. All of this information is recent as of today; wasn't selected and hopefully this can help someone and not waste their time and energy like it was done to me.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Name a time you and a coworker had a disagreement. Name a time you and a coworker had a hard task. Also they will have you role play in the face to face about the suitcase not making it on the plane because of no room on the plane.

      Interview

I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.
