      Flight Attendant Bilingual Interview

      15 Sept 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Atlanta, GA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2015

      Interview

I applied with an employee referral on August 5th the first day the job was posted. On August 11th I received an email from HireVue to complete a digital interview with 5 questions to answer and record up 2 minutes. For me it was very difficult due I am not a native English Speaker, so I had to practice a lot before start recording my interview. For me it was almost impossible to answer the questions, smile and look at the camera at the same time, I wasn't comfortable at all. I submitted it on August 13th and received a confirmation. I haven't heard from Delta until HireVue sent me another video interview on September 1st to complete an assessment, this time in my Native Language (for the LOD position) Looks like although I felt I didn't do well in my video interview, I moved forward one more step. I completed it and submitted it on September 3rd and I received the confirmation. I haven't heard anything from Delta after complete the second video interview, so I am wondering If have passed or not, still waiting and hoping I receive an email to schedule the phone screen. My profile still says under review, so I guess it is a good sign. Looks like they are already interviewing F2F non bilingual candidates, I haven't read any of the bilingual candidates saying they were invited for a F2F so I am still hopeful. I also noticed each candidate has a different timeline, the process for some people is much faster and for others take longer, so everybody should keep their hopes and just be patient!

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines

      Interview

It was straight forward and a nice experience. I applied online, did my initial assessment, then a recorded video introduction, then I did a phone interview to assess my additional language skills and a few days ago I received my invitation to the f2f. The whole process took about 2 months. If you do your research about the company and what will be expected from a flight attendant you´ll be fine! Just relax and have fun. I´ll be in Atlanta for the bilingual f2f interview on October 11. If anyone else is going the same day, let´s connect!
