I had a very disappointing experience with the hiring process at Delvitech. After an initial interview and a technical assessment, I was told that I would receive a job offer by Monday. This was communicated directly by the CEO, Roberto Gatti, and I was led to believe that the offer was imminent.
However, after waiting for several days, I received an email stating that I had not been selected for the position, without any clear explanation or further communication. This was especially frustrating and confusing given the previous assurance that I would receive an offer.
While I understand that hiring decisions can change, I believe the way this situation was handled was neither respectful nor professional. Being led on with such clear expectations and then receiving no feedback or rationale felt disrespectful of the time and energy I invested in the process.
I would strongly encourage the company to improve its communication and transparency with candidates, as this experience has left me with a negative impression of their recruitment process.
