      Lead Development Representative Interview

      8 Mar 2013
      Anonymous employee
      San Francisco, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Demandforce (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2013

      Interview

Applied online via Craigslist and got a reply back from the recruiter. It turned out that they had a different position available than what I originally applied for which was fine because I really just wanted a foot in the door at a company like this. We scheduled an interview and it really is the exact process other people have mentioned. 4 15 minute interviews with different managers, to say it's intense is an understatement. By the time I was done with the interview I didn't know up from down and I couldn't tell if I did well or failed miserably. When the interviewer's time is up they thank you for coming in and the next interviewer comes in, it's pretty fast.

      Lead Development Representative Interview

      21 Jun 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Demandforce in Jun 2016

      Interview

Applied, then was first interviewed through the phone by a recruiter. The recruiter asked simple 'about me' questions. She notified me a few hours later that she was interested and wanted to schedule a second interview that had to be in person, so I was required to come into their office. About a week later, I was interviewed by two managers and then asked to do a cold call. Cold call was alright - you have to be ready and know how to ask open ended questions. Also, know the Triple A strategy.

      Question 1

Why sales? Tell me about a time you failed and what did you do after?

      26 May 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Demandforce

      Interview

-Phone interview for 15-20 minutes, wasn't too hard just make sure to be energetic and engaged. Afterwards, I was called to have an in person interview. -The in person interview started off well and went downhill after that. One of the sales managers does not understand how to give constructive criticism and feedback. She was belittling and scoffed at me wanting to be a part of the sales team. She was highly unprofessional in her conduct and had decided that she did not want to hire me early in the interview, which showed in her interactions. As a whole, Demandforce is an unprofessional company and with all the tech companies booming in the Bay Area, there are better options around.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

-Why Demandforce? -Why sales? -What are you most proud of? -Why technology? -Cold call role play

      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Demandforce

      Interview

Three different managers who were all borderline cocky and full of themselves. They constantly said they wanted someone, "angry" and who's biggest goals in life were to become an Account Executive there.
