I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Denny's (Klamath Falls, OR) in Jun 2008
Interview
I walked in and asked to talk to the hiring manager, when she came out I told her I would like to get a job there, so she interviewed me right on the spot. This was the only interview I was given, They ask likes why do you want to work at Denny's, I told them I like the possibility to make more money based on my skills. They asked what I thought I could bring to the company, I said I thought I could bring a happy attitude that might brigten some customers days. My advise to other people is to be yourself and have fun during the interview, don't go uptight. They want to hire people that will enjoy the laid back work environment. Most of the employees there are great fun people, as with any job though there are the ones that get on your nerves. But over all, it was a very good fun place to work!
Not the best interview. Started off in Spanish, which is fine, but I don't speak Spanish. It was informal, a bit uncomfortable. I expected a different line of questioning and was disappointed.
Fairly easy interview process. The questions weren’t too hard and just wanted you to tell about providing and receiving great customer service. If they like you you can be hired on the spot

Question 1
Describe a time you experienced good customer service
Brief chat with manager about past experience and work hours preferred. Did not want to work too late in the evening and was accommodated.
Generally was a very relaxed and friendly interview.
