A recruiter from Dexian reached out to me regarding a role of a NOC Engineer for an energy company. This was an ideal role and matched quite well with my experience. He informed me he would submit me. Out of the blue, while I was driving, his manager called me, with no scheduled call, and said he would like to ask a few questions. It was awkward, but I thought it would just be basic questions, so I agreed. But then he started with technical questions, and that's when I informed him I was driving, and it would be best if I was at home to take the call for such questions. He said he would be around for 2 hours and I said I would call back. I did call back in the time frame, but he said it was not a good time, because he was taking his kids to a game, and he asked if it was ok to call back tomorrow. I told him that would be perfect. Tomorrow came, and he never followed-up. I followed-up with the original recruiter, the next day and he informed me his manager told him our call was 'not productive'. I informed him what actually took place, and he just said the manager already did submissions, and he would ask again. He never did. I informed their upper management about the experience, and they never responded.
