Interview
First was a hiring manager phone screen, then there was a technical phone screen, finally an onsite that had behavioral, design and architecture, coding, and database components. Digit was great and was able to move as slowly or quickly as I needed. They were flexible in allowing me to wrap up my interview process before I gave them a response to the offer, and were incredibly responsive to any questions or concerns I had throughout the entire process. During the onsite, I got a feel for how uniquely cohesive the culture was there, how nice the people were, and how much everyone at the company cared for their customers. All of the above were why I eventually decided to join the company, and I have not felt a single bit of regret since.

Question 1
Create an api endpoint that returns data pulled from a web page
There is very little reaction from the interviewer. Maybe we are not in the same channels. I feel they want candidates with highly matched experience while I don't have such experience.
I got the interview after replying to an email from the CTO. I had a non-technical phone screen, a technical video interview, and an onsite. The onsite interview had algorithm, system design, product, background check questions and a lunch break.
The process went smoothly. I had many opportunities to ask questions about what it's like to work at Digit. After receiving an offer, I had many coffee chats with folks at Digit to get a more comprehensive sense of the work environment.
