The interview was for a position from Italy (Remote).
After applying for the role I have been approached by the hiring manager on LinkedIn. We scheduled the Interview for the following day at 16.30.
The Interviewer/Hiring Manager was late (I had to send him a message at 16.40. He said "sorry I thought it was in 30 minutes"...and they sent the invite.. it was the first hint to understand their way to approach the work).
The interview started in English and it was about talking about myself (it was a test to see if I could speak English) then it switched to Italian suddenly, asking if I had questions.
The interview and the conversation have been pretty friendly however I am strongly disappointed by the promise of being contacted even if they proceeded with other candidates (I was among the first interviewed in a process that was supposed to run 2 weeks) and almost a month later, no answers whatsoever.
I tried to talk to the person who approached me on Linkedin (the same of the interview) right before and right after the deadline and not only he did not reply, but also he blocked me as well.
Saying "Unfortunately we proceeded with other candidates" is free, but if who manages this company is reliable and keeps the promises as they do in the interview, I'm grateful I haven't been shortlisted.
