      Senior Analyst Interview

      10 Aug 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Digitas (New York, NY) in Feb 2017

      Interview

I was referred by a c-level executive to the recruiter and another manager. I followed up with every step after I made a phone screening call with the recruiter and they invited me to the office. I was not informed if this will be an official interview or not but I was prepared for a one. Well, I met with the manager and 2 people from the team at her office. She made the people from team ask some random questions to me and I felt like they were not prepared for this either. They asked me a campaign response case question by showing some graphs and campaign response rates in Excel. During the talk, the manager understood that I was not closely related to the c-level executive. After that, she told me to seek opportunities and to keep in touch with the recruiter upon my graduation. So I did follow up with the recruiter a couple of times but they stopped responding to me as they knew that it wouldn't be a problem with their boss. I think overall it was a poor sign of HR processes. It also seemed like the current employees were really not enjoying their positions and they were surprised that I was into the position.

      Question 1

Why advertising? Related experience? Why is this campaign's response rate lower than this one? How do those different campaigns differ from each other (looking at an image)?

      Interview

Leaving this review to address how unprofessional the recruiter was. After applying through the portal I get an email from recruiter and reply back with my available times… she’s doesn’t reply. I follow up after all of my given available time has passed. We schedule a screening interview. She is fifteen minutes late. After the screening call I had to follow up for the next steps. After the panel interview which lasted 2 hours I never heard anything back from the recruiter. I even followed up with no reply. Very unprofessional Everyone I talked to at Digitas, minus the recruiter, was very intelligent and informational.

      Senior Analyst Interview

      24 Sept 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Boston, MA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Digitas (Boston, MA)

      Interview

Overall, an enjoyable process. 3 interviews. One with HR. One with Hiring Manager. One in person. HR rep was on top of it throughout the whole process, which was great. First interview was very general, salary questions, questions about my background, etc. Second interview was not really an interview. The Hiring Manager just talked to me about the job. Interview in person consisted of three parts. One interview with a manager centered around my background and behavioral-type questions. Second interview was a market sizing case study on bikes. I believe it was, what is the market size for mountain bikes? Very general. She didn't want a definitive number, but an answer on what questions I would ask myself to get to the final number. This part also included a very short quiz on some campaign-specific questions. I can't really remember the questions, but it required some very simple math, so I wouldn't worry about that. Final part was an informal talk with the hiring manager where you get to know more about the culture. Can't share an outcome because I ended up withdrawing my app, but HR had reached out quickly after the last interview to see how it went. This all happened within the span of two-three weeks.
