I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dillard's (San Antonio, TX) in May 2018
Interview
First you get interviewed by a supervisor, then a manager on a different day. Then once you are hired, you must go through a 1-month training session before officially starting. They may have you start picking up shifts after 2 weeks of the training sessions but you won't "officially" start until you have completed those.
Easy, few job related questions. schedual flexability. Shifts avilabiltys, days and holidays avilabilitys. Your job rolle, expectation, traning, education, refrences. Work history and reson for chosing the store. It is a simple easy procces, more like meet and greet.
I did an application online got a call from a manager a couple days later. Went in for an interview. Met with two people the same day. A couple days later I got an email with an offer.

Question 1
How do you feel that you would benefit this company?
The store manager was kind and understanding. The interview was quick and easy. He was very willing to give opportunities even with little to no experience with opportunities to earn commissions and learn from others.
