I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Dillard's (Oklahoma City, OK) in Apr 2018
Interview
Fairly easy, but mysterious. You never know how much they will offer to pay you, but it’s usually pretty competitive with other makeup vendors.
Im sure the experience could vary depending on the actual store you’re applying at, the position you are applying for, and who interviews you.
Once you complete the overall initial interview, you will be expected to attend on-boarding group training for 2 weeks every evening. This is where you learn the genera rules and expectations of the store and for the most part, it is extremely boring. There are a few exciting nights through the 2 weeks, but for the most part it’s technical.
