Interview
I was actually recruited while I was working at B&BW. I had around 3 interviews: one with one of my recruiters (sales manager), and one with each of the store managers. There was nothing special about the interviews, just basic questions. They were very easy to schedule with.
I made sure to dress well, business dress, in appropriate colors (blue, black, and/or grey). I tied these colors in to my interview answers (psychology/art student, colors give off different messages/moods and blue = trustworthiness, white = prestige, cleanliness, etc.) They want people who know how to dress, especially according to the department(s) you'd like to work in.
You begin the application process online, then you can schedule an interview. Part of the interview/application process is an online IQ/personality quiz. It will ask you math questions and other types of questions (I don't remember exactly what).

Question 1
What makes you think you'd be a good sales person at Dillard's?
Standard interview, quite short (20 minutes) for the first round. Asked about past experience, sales skills, expected pay, and my future goals at the company. Interviewers were very nice and welcoming, made the experience much less intimidating!
Not sure what to expect. When I spoke to the manager it felt very condescending and off putting. The interview was fine but they exaggerated the amount of commission associates can make and didn’t even give me a chance to agree to a job offer just assumed that I would take it. I don’t have very high hopes about how it will be working there. When I came in for my interview one associate didn’t even greet me like she did the last customer and the energy of the atmosphere just felt super dull and soulless. I need this job on my resume as a fashion business student for internships so I’ll push through but not at all optimistic about the work environment.
Easy, few job related questions. schedual flexability. Shifts avilabiltys, days and holidays avilabilitys. Your job rolle, expectation, traning, education, refrences. Work history and reson for chosing the store. It is a simple easy procces,more like meet and greet.
