It was a lot of fun! We laughed about the marketing strategies I enjoyed from the company so far and then discussed a made up strategy on the fly. The interviewer was easy to talk to, as well.

I really enjoyed my initial phone screen with the recruiter who was absolutely lovely. But then had a negative experience with the hiring manager who didn't show up to the interview until I emailed 15 minutes in and proceeded to say they didn't see that I was in the call, where I had been waiting since the start time. I was rejected about a week later. In the end, it didn't feel fair as I had done a take-home assignment as well and was very invested in the role. Having someone show up late to an interview definitely shook my confidence and led to me feeling like I didn't get a fair chance to showcase my ability to succeed at the company. But if anything it was likely a red flag and one that should be avoided. I think it says a lot about the team at large as well as what it would potentially be like to work there.
