Had my initial screening with a managing director for a CSM role (Sales position). I met with the managing director for an hour, where for over 45 minutes I was hammered with basic questions I'd ask someone fresh out of college. Working in this industry for over 10 years, and 6 of those being in the same role, vertical, and territory they were looking for, I'd expect some better fluid conversation and more strategic questions. No room was left for my questions, and the last 15 minutes were presenting and trying to sell me on the comp package. In the comp package the statutory health care benefits an employer of this size is REQUIRED to offer, the employer cost was included in "OTE". The interviewer lightly bashed the former employee this role was backfilling on having to leave for personal reasons, and threw in "people are lazy. no one wants to work anymore". Red flags galore. I withdrew from this position.
