I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dlocal (Porto, Oporto) in May 2023
Interview
I first applied for the position and had three rounds of meetings: talent acquisition, hiring manager, and area director. After that, they could require a technical challenge, but I wasn't selected for it. The process was pretty straightforward, but they became radio silent after the last interview and, after multiple follow-ups from my side with the talent acquisition partner, I received an automated rejection email - no feedback what so ever (which tells a lot about the company culture).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you increase revenue with existing clients?
1. Interview with recruitment team (cultural fit)
2. Hiring Manager (more technical)
3. Busines Case
4. Global Management team
Amazing follow uo during the whole process and support with visibility. My whole process took a month
After an HR interview, there's an interview with your future manager, and lastly, a business case to present to both manager + director.
Besides the business case to present on call, there's an additional set of questions and business case - like scenarios to be sent over email, unrelated to the business case selected to present.
Finally, there's a short cultural fit conversation with someone from a different area.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Initially, most questions are about your career background and how you manage different situations.
The interview in which you present the business case has questions focusing on the case itself, and the interviewers present themselves as if they were the customer, hence giving real-life scenarios to gauge how you would act in certain situations.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dlocal (Barcelona) in May 2025
Interview
The interview process was very clear from the beginning and felt very supported by the recruiter in case I had questions. The process was super fast, compared to other fintech’s where you never know how long is gonna take and feel like you never see the light at the end of the tunnel.
