Their CRO, Kandace Cortez, reached out to set-up an interview with me for their Growth Marketing Manager role the Friday before the week we were to interview. The interview rolls around and she no shows. After about 10 minutes I email her asking if she is still available to connect. No word. Another 10 minutes went by and I email again to let her know that I was going to hop off the call and assumed something came up. I followed-up the day after to see if she was interested in rescheduling — nothing. I am assuming at this point that something horribly wrong happened but assumed I would eventually hear something back for good, better, or worse regarding the role. Well it's been almost two weeks and I have been ghosted by Kandace and the company. Zero outreach apologizing for wasting my time, no explanation of if they hired for the role or froze it, literally nothing since setting the interview. I can't begin to explain the disrespect this shows to a candidate who went to the trouble of applying to not show for an interview then ghost them. This company and CRO must have zero tact whatsoever.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DoctorLogic (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2019
Interview
This company showed its true colors right away. An employee referred me to DoctorLogic because I have direct experience working with my own book of business in the aesthetics field for several years In Beverly Hills. I was literally going to bring my existing contract clients and knowledge to this company. Anyways, after a couple of months the CRO, Andre finally reached out and we scheduled a time to have a phone interview. I prepped all day for the call. Andre no-showed to the call, didn’t respond to my follow-up email and didn’t reach out to apologize. It was incredibly unprofessional and a complete disregard for my time. I chose to use that experience as fuel to drive me towards continuing to build my web design/branding company in the Medical Aesthetics genre and I now manage a six figure book of business from Dallas to Dubai within 6 months of that no-show interview. When you blow off someone with the portfolio to successfully become a direct competitor, it’s only going to propel them forward with more verve than before.
