The recruiter was unenthused, uninterested & quite frankly sounded miserable. After identifying that I did not have a strong background in what the role required, there was no interest in continuing the conversation—Yet she continued to ask meaningless questions to reach the 10-minute mark. Had she glanced at my resume prior to the call, we could both have been spared the painful experience.
As someone who is in HR, I recommend being more mindful of the impression you give candidates, as they ultimately should become part of your talent pool (if you’re strategic).
