The hiring process for this organization took incredibly long. I applied for the Crisis Intervention Manager position and did not hear anything about an interview for about two weeks (not even a confirmation of "we got your application"). Then, I scheduled the in-person interview, and it was a week out from scheduling (pretty normal). Then, I go in for the interview which was very long. I was asked over 20 questions. I felt that I performed well, and that I was well-received by the interviewers. I was then told that I would hear back about whether or not I would get a second interview, and not to send a follow-up email because their hiring process takes a long time. Well, about a month later, someone emailed me saying that they had moved on with another candidate. That is seven weeks of maybe getting a job/maybe not getting a job.
