I applied online. I interviewed at Driveline Retail Merchandising (New York, NY)
Interview
On the job application, I specifically requested that I be contacted by email. At 11:17 am, it seems an email from Driveline came in. Before I could even finish reading it, my phone rang! This is why I am hesitant to even give out my number.
I'm sorry but you ring my phone after not even giving me a chance to respond via email, as requested, you lost me as an experienced employee. Feroza was the person's name who was too impatient to wait for an email response. Maybe if she reads this she'll understand there are people who DO NOT want to be contacted by phone, and only email, for a reason: shift workers, college students, those working another job, etc.
Previous reviews state where people were able to do everything online and didn't even have to speak with anyone.

Interview
The interview was short and sweet. Just a basic breakdown of responsibilities. It was a very easy process. At first, I was nervous but as the interview continued, I quickly eased up.
It was pretty simple and straight forward. Takes to a person from who knows where, they just read the required prompt and then asked a few generic questions. Literally anyone could get this job. They offered it to me after ten minute phone call. I really need a flexible job so I accepted it.
Very straight forward, just a short phone call with a district manager. Prettynormal conversation asking about experience, comfortability, pay, and hours. Nothing too crazy. Had an email and then a phone call a day or two after applying.
