I applied online. I interviewed at Dublin City University in Feb 2026
Interview
One round only, panel interview with four members. Presentation prepared in advance. Panel and all staff I met were open and friendly but many of the interview questions were incredibly structured to the point that they were barely open ended, and there was little room to discuss fit or skills necessary for the role. This is typical public sector format, which is rather dated. Sensed that the role was already earmarked for someone internal.

Interview
It was fairly straightforward overall, with nothing particularly difficult or unexpected. The interview followed a clear, predictable structure, and there were no curveballs or surprise questions along the way. Enjoyable even
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Dublin City University (Dublin, Dublin) in Dec 2025
Interview
it was very hard and i didn't like their tone. i was qualified for the job but they suggested i would need a lot of training. interviewer seemed more interested in telling me how good they were at cleaning toilets than listening to what i would bring to the role,
