I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Duco (New York, NY) in Apr 2025
Interview
Call with Head of Talent, call with hiring manager, in person with Head of CSM/AM team, and a team member. Everything seemed to go really well; I was excited about the product and had a great vision for how I would contribute to the role. I followed up twice, but didn't hear anything for 2 weeks - I was told the feedback was positive, and there were internal discussions about the role and team structure. 1 week later, I was told they were putting the role on hold.
I later saw on LinkedIn that they had hired 2 other people into the role around the week of my in-person interview (which I took time off for).
I would have preferred transparency instead of chasing for responses and being pushed off; I felt like my time was wasted.

Question 1
Standard interview questions. Situational questions, like difficult situations, dealing with challenging people, and navigating the change from a large company to a smaller shop.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Duco
Interview
Really good process. The interviewers are very technically savvy. Really lovely people too. I do like the interview guide they send out with their values. The recruiter was really attentive
