The interview process from beginning to end has been a very positive experience. Nate, the internal recruiter, reached out to me via LinkedIn and scheduled a phone screening the next day. Instead of having a rushed survey “let’s tick off some boxes” type of call, Nate provided in details both the great things and the challenges I would face within the role. Not only was Nate very transparent, I could tell during our phone call that he took the time to thoroughly review my work experience on LinkedIn to make sure that my skills were in line with what the company was looking for. Within the same week, I had a phone interview with the VP and then with the Assistant Controller the following week. While working on the next step and attending a conference at the same time, Nate still kept the communication line open and kept me updated via email. A week and a half after the last phone screening, I met with the VP, Assistant Controller, Director of Business Services, and Senior SEC Reporting Manager for an onsite interview. Everyone I met with all echoed the same high level of professionalism, transparency, and positive outlook. I appreciated everyone’s honestly and each person I met with was able to provide clear expectations for the role. Each of the four 30 minutes 1:1 interviews were conversational so I was able to answer everyone's questions without feeling like I was being grilled. Just like with the prior phone screenings, Nate called to check and get my input about the onsite interview. Overall, my first good impression about the company and its culture all started with my first phone call with Nate and it continued all the way through the in person interviews.
I received the offer letter the next day along with "Welcome!" and congratulatory emails from everyone that I interviewed with after they were notified that I signed it.
