I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dynamik Design Partners (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
It sucked. I applied online and got an in-person interview. The CEO and the Marketing/Operations head came in like 10 mins late into the conference room and their whole perspective around the interview was that I should tell them how they're the BEST firm I could work for and how I shouldn't look for opportunities elsewhere. Right off the bat they asked me if I was getting interviews elsewhere and from that moment onwards, the whole interview felt like they want me to feel bad about myself and sign whatever they offer me. The vibes were very negative and toxic, and at one point they literally told me 'oh but you should show us your nervousness'. why?! Why should any candidate show you their nervousness? They never looked at my work and their whole moto was that we judge the person, which they did based off how much I could praise their firm/people/projects and make them believe it was the best thing that could ever happen to me.
Oh and then they gave me a lowballed offer, which was non-negotiable. My only suggestion is, if you wanna work as a dirt cheap labor, go ahead, apply here, or just value yourself and your mental health and search for better opportunities.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Dynamik Design Partners
Interview
My school’s career fair provided an opportunity to speak with their leadership and show them my portfolio. We had a brief chat for 5-10 minutes, and following this an interview was scheduled in their office. The office interview allowed me to meet with more of the leadership team, and get a sense of the office pace. They seemed to have an incredible amount of work and featured a diverse staff.
