I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at EAB in Sept 2018
Interview
First round was a regular phone screening with HR, which went really well. They asked the typical questions like walk me through your resume and why EAB. The second round included a writing sample based on a case study and an interview with another case-study prompt.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
You are advising a mid-sized college and the university leadership. They would like to increase international student enrollment over the next few years to increase revenue. How would you advise them to do so?
My second case-study question was about the opera. You are asked to increase the revenue of a local opera, but you cannot increase the amount of shows per day. How do you increase revenue? What do you need to know in order to do so?
3 rounds - (Recruiter, generic test , assignment) - just to get the hiring manager to explain WHAT the position was actually all about, and what skills were required :( The recruiter was not able to address any of my role related questions at the outset.
EAB has an organized, well thought-out interview process. I had a call with a recruiter, a test and take-home project (a timed essay), and then two rounds of interviews with case-study questions.
