It was relatively easy. There were 2 people in the room interviewing me. They just asked about my commercial real estate background, what asset classes I have worked on in the past, my excel modeling skills and why I wanted to move to the investments side of the CRE business.

Interview
Three rounds
First round, over the phone with a recruiter spoke about my experience and scheduled another round.
Second round, spoke to hiring manager discussed history and what sets me apart for the role.
Third round, met in person with hiring manager, two higher ups and discussed my experience along with asking questions. Pretty straight forward questions about my specific real estate history.
Unfortunately no offer as well as person that did get the role had less experience then myself.
Really felt chemistry between myself and the company had great discussions with them but can not put a finger on how things did not click.
