I did not apply, they found my information on the internet and contacted me. This made me think they were very interested on my skills and curriculum.
First an online interview with a talent acquisition expert in Spain. He was very kind and open, very positive.
Then a written exam at their offices in Mexico City. Easy exam about appied SQL and Java. No one talked to me this time except the receptionist.
Then an interview with both my would-be boss and his own boss who was in Spain (teleconference). My would-be boss told me he did not understand why I had studied 2 majors and did not let me answer. This made me see that they were not interested on my curriculum and it made me wonder why I had been called on a first place. They described the job in very general terms but did not show me a Job Description, they promised a professional growth path but it was not clearly detailed. They asked if I had further doubts. I asked their own trajectory at Edicom and they talked about it.
Then they asked me to confirm my interest. I told them that the current information I had made me doubt. I was asked what made me doubt so I informed them that their reviews on Glassdoor were not very good. They were not receptive to this feedback. The boss from Spain defended the company without presenting any additional information.
