I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at EPIC Technologies (Norwalk, OH) in Mar 2010
Interview
I found this company through Cleveland Business Consultants (CBC). After I had gone and signed up with them, they came back to me about a year later and told me about the job. They made the connection between my prior experience in electronics and asked if I wanted to return to the field. I sent CBC my updated resume. They arranged for an initial interview. This interview was with the Engineering Mgr, the Quality Mgr, and the Plant Mgr. Although their open post was for a different position, they liked my experience and they opened up a position as a Process Engineer. I like that they were flexible in this way, looking for the person and not the position. Afterward, the HR Mgr came in and asked me a different set of questions. I got a second interview with the Dir. of Engineering a few weeks later, and it went great. He gave me the opportunity to talk in depth about some of my former projects, and I felt I could really shine.

Hard to recall ... I remember questions about scenarios like "If you are tasked with investigating a new process or technology for use, what concrete steps would you take?"
