I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ETS Laboratories (Paso Robles, CA)
Interview
Not many questions about myself besides my small amount of work experience. The lady, who turns out to be the CEO, reads through all your grades, grilled me/ nitpicked at my transcripts. Pop quiz on basic chemistry concepts / equipment. They warned me that this work is i tense and that you have to work 6 days a week in harvest, for low pay. The loan repayment is about $100 a month from the company which is nothing for people who actually have loans. Overall this company doesn’t want to spend money on seasonal employees in Paso, they rather force their yearly employees to be overworked for a significant amount of every year. They claim that because the 6th day is all overtime that it’s worth it, but the approx $3000 you will get by the end of the year from overtime isn’t worth mental and physical health.
