I applied for a Solution Architect position and had a disappointing experience with the interview coordination. The HR team initially stated the interview required one hour and asked me to join at 2:45 PM, even though I had clearly communicated that I was unavailable before 3 PM. Despite suggesting alternate slots (5 PM, 6 PM, or 7 PM), they still scheduled the interview for 3:00–3:30 PM, contradicting their own requirement.
When I declined that slot and requested a revised time, there was no response. Days later, I suddenly received an email at 9 PM asking me to complete a self-assessment by the next day 12 PM, with the misleading phrase “As discussed,” even though it was never mentioned earlier.
The lack of communication, disregard for candidate time, and inconsistent information made the process unprofessional and frustrating. The company should improve transparency, coordination between teams, and respect for candidates’ schedules.
