Interview process consisted of a half hour phone interview, a face to face meeting with the main engineering lead, a quick panel meeting with senior department staff, and a site tour all over in about 2 hours. Most of the discussion with the lead was one-sided and marketing oriented speaking to the past technical accomplishments of the firm. A small portion of the questions I received were limited to basic skills assessment with a few specific skill assessment questions. I was unable to get a clear job description with the questions I asked with the lead. Most of the answers I got leaned towards a focus on team collaboration. I asked about turnover both with the lead and senior staff and didn't get a straight answer. Overall the technical accomplishments were impressive; however, at the end of the day the interview made me uneasy.
