I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at EarnUp (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2016
Interview
They asked me to schedule a time for a phone interview via email. After the phone interview, I was immediately sent a set of programming questions to complete. I completed it and emailed to them. After a couple of days, I followed up with them and they said that the test results looked good. They asked me to give availability for setting up an on-site interview.
I then had an on-site interview where I wasn't asked any technical questions. It was just about my background and experience, and I was also given chance to ask questions about the company.
After the on-site, I was informed that I would be having two more interviews if I cleared this round, but was rejected even after the on-site interview.
I felt that the interview was not well organized and they did not let me know about the number of rounds of interview before meeting them in person. If I had known that this in person meet up was just to speak about my experience, I would have asked them to conduct a Skype interview instead of wasting my time and energy to go meet them in person.
I feel that the candidates should be informed before hand about the whole interview process and also, they would have spoken about my experience through a phone or Skype call instead of conducting on on-site interview.
