Zoom meeting with committee members. Members asked me questions, which were all answered within the documents I submitted. One member appeared to be viewing the files for the first time. Most of the committee members appeared to have a general lack of knowledge about the university resources. Members seemed cold and non-personable. When it came to my turn, I asked what classes will I be teaching as a Professor of Business. The committee lead and everyone else had no idea. It was at that moment I knew the interview was a farce. I asked some softball questions simply to finish the interview and continue my job search, they had already wasted enough of my time. The leader of the committee mentioned they were in a hurry. I didn't want to offend him in front of everyone but For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish.’ (Luke 14:28-30 It's clear by all of the reviews on Glassdoor and Niche that this school lacks leadership. The retiring committee member seemed to struggle and get frustrated with using the Zoom software. I don't recommend this school.
