After answering their questions they start talking compensation. They ask you first what you’re looking for base salary wise. Even though they already have a base they will start you off they’ll ask what you’re looking for. Feel like they could get that out of the way first or approach/ask that differently. Could just simply say what they will start you and if that’s something you’re content with.
