I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Eco Outdoor (Sydney) in Dec 2022
Interview
Really disappointing and unprofessional second round interview experience. They proceeded to call my references prior to the second interview and told them I would have a job offer by the end of the day! This was the first red flag. Overall, very disorganised - they forgot I was coming in. Then, I endured a 2 hour interview which included having to draw a chart on a whiteboard explaining the hierarchy of my prior roles along with inane maths questions and an erratic interviewer whose energy was all over the place. Didn’t even have the courtesy to get back to me even after saying they would. That said, if you’re a bit of a cowboy and likes to sell in that “used car salesman” old school form, this might be the place for you. Other than that, steer clear!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Calculating square feet etc. Not a behavioural type interview. Content wise, it was very loose and inconsistent.
After submitting the application, I got a call from the Head of Finance to to briefly introduce herself and the hiring process. After that, I got invited to take the online assessment. I passed the assessment and get invited to the 1st round of interview. Being successful with the 1st round, I got invited to the 2nd round of interview
