The process was straight forward enough - automated system which was simple enough to use to schedule a time for the call; however, it did not provide an opportunity to communicate electronically/directly with the recruiter.
The standard screening call lasted 30-45 minutes. During that time, the recruiter volunteered that they would recommend that I meet with the hiring manager. They also voluntarily disclosed some other tidbits which I found promising at the time. Several weeks later, I received an automated note stating they were no longer filling the position.
