      Senior Computer Vision Engineer Interview

      4 Nov 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Tel Aviv-Yafo
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Edgybees (Tel Aviv-Yafo)

      Interview

I'd undergone 6 interviews (4 technical interviews and 2 additional interviews with upper management) and was asked to complete 2 home assignments. I was led to believe I was successful at each stage. The last 2 interviews were at their headquarters with upper management, implying that the process was continuing in a positive direction. Upon notification of their decision not to hire me, they expressed that I don't possess the technical skills required for their position based solely on the third interview. I was surprised by their decision. I don't understand why they needed me to invest my time and efforts in vein when the decision had already been made by the third interview. Companies need to find a way to both evaluate interviewees while acknowledging their endeavors. In this situation that was not the case in my experience.

Thank you for the feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to write it. We hear that you got frustrated with the process and apologize for leaving you with a negative experience. We know and appreciate the time and effort you have put in this process and we thank you so much for that. Due to Covid-19, we miss some of the personal connections that we were used to having so our hiring process became longer. We are doing our best to make the process as efficient as possible and we apologize for the negative experience that you had. We wish you the best of luck.
