Conventional. Led into a side room with manager who asked why I wished to work at EPL. After a series of questions, the interview was concluded. I was offered water.

Question 1
Why do I want to work at EPL?
Am I good with members of the public who are marginalized?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Edmonton Public Library (Edmonton, AB) in Feb 2024
Interview
It was straight to the point and mostly on past experiences and behavioural questions and situational questions. They would also like to see the different means with which you navigate different difficult situations and how you are able to use good judgement, deescalation techniques too
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Edmonton Public Library in Feb 2023
Interview
Submitted my resumé and cover letter. I had been a former summer programmer. They gave very little turnaround to complete the next assignment, a video to demonstrate programming capacity. Nevertheless, I got it done. I drove 3 hours for the interview, which went well, but I didn't get the position. The feedback was along the lines of "please apply again". It's hard to see where exactly I didn't suit their criteria--I have TONS of programming experience, I'm bilingual, etc etc.

Question 1
Imagine a scenario where bla bla bla...lots of hypotheticals about customer service, facing programming sudden needs. They're looking to see if you can be flexible and work on the fly.
