      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Educause (Louisville, CO)

      Interview

Interview process took place over about 5 weeks from application to...well...a dead end I guess. I received a call fairly quickly after applying to schedule a phone interview. I had the phone interview, which was essentially recruiter screening. My second interview was a video interview with Director and Executive level staff, even though I am 5 minutes away. Okay. No problem. I nailed the interview. I was even told by the managing executive that I had done so and to expect a call, although it might take some time due to the hiring of another exec that they wanted to be part of the process. He reiterated twice that they definitely wanted to talk to me more. I am very patient. I waited a few weeks and emailed to follow-up. I received a reply to wait a little longer but to expect to hear something within the next week or two. I wait 3 weeks...no call or email. So I follow-up again, professionally, because at this point I have another job offer coming and I like the idea of this one more. Crickets. I see the position was re-posted so I assume I did not make it. You guys have to know that this is the most rude way to treat any applicant, let alone the ones you pretended to be interested in. Very unprofessional company that dresses well.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Educause (Louisville, CO) in Jan 2018

      Interview

The most unprofessional, erratic, vague interview I have ever had. Usually an interviewer understands the basics of the position they are interviewing for but it became evident early in the discussion that this person had absolutely no clue. The job duties, expectations, basic daily activity seemed to change each minute. I walked out of the meeting thinking "this is an amateur hour" company that I don't need to be a part of. Quite honestly, it made me reassess the type of companies I wish to pursue and they type of intelligent professionals I will work with.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Educause (Louisville, CO) in Jan 2018

      Interview

Initial interview was via phone. Second interview was in office/ face to face. Questions were what I expected in both rounds, more expressing my knowledge in very specific areas. Although I listed my experience on my resume, I know these questions are important to check for anyone who might “extend” their abilities and knowledge. There was then a third round which included a VP via video call in. My impression was that this round was more getting a second opinion and the decision was 90% made. My opinion is that this would have been a great company to work for. The interviewer was knowledgeable about the company, its direction and how this position will help. If another position in my area became available, I would not hesitate to apply. All in all, a very good/proper interview process.
