I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Educents (New York, NY) in Nov 2016
Interview
I had a 30 minute phone call with an employee involved with content, sent in several previous writing examples, and did a 3-step assignment afterward. After sending in the assignment, I was thanked and told they would be in touch.
After not contacting me when they said they would, I ended up reaching out and was told that they were not continuing with the process. I was pretty disappointed from the unprofessionalism after I spent time on the assignment.

Interview
I applied online and actually heard back from them very soon. Right away, they requested a phone interview which I was very pleased to agree to. The phone interview lasted about 15 minutes after which I was asked to interview face to face. Unfortunately I was out of the country and unable to travel to Oakland. Educents was very friendly and accommodated without me even having to ask: We did the interview via skype! My interviewers we very friendly, open and seemed excited to work at Educents. The company came across very lively, organized and dynamic which made it very easy to say yes to working there.

Interview
I received an actual response a few hours after my resume was sent in. AWESOME! They asked for a phone interview within 24 hours. I received a follow-up email that they filled the position. However, they were very pleasant throughout the entire process and asked to keep my resume on file. They had two pages of questions and were very thorough.

They asked questions that related to the field and nothing too difficult if you know what you are doing. They asked a lot of technical questions to test my abilities and knowledge which I appreciated.
