Phone screening interview conducted by the HR department. Basic questions with no obvious red flags on work history. Interviewer was most interested that all work for some time had been as contractor / consultant. Despite the contracting work being at the same company for long periods of time, which demonstrates stability and value to the client, the HR rep indicated that 'they find consultants don't work out at Edwards', and while the resume would be forwarded to the hiring manager it was clear that it wouldn't be endorsed by HR. Never heard from them again.
