interview was good..there were total 3 rounds 1 technical 1 technical+managerial round and third with onshore
HR informed me he will call me next day for hr round but he didnt call
so i called him after 2 days, he replied that they have one more candidate whose candidature is same as mine, same experience same notice period.
SO they need some time to think which candidate will be better. whoever will expect less package they will take that candidate. 3 weeks gone no further updates from Hr. after 1 month again this HR called me and informed that they have taken other candidate fro that position but they have one more position in other team, if you can come i will schedule ur intrvw. i agreed on that, and again gone thorugh 3 rounds. same things again happned. No response from HR for offer letter and all.
Then after 1 week of second round interview, HR called me and asked if i can join previous team as their selected candidate rejected their offer letter just 2 days before his joining(use ur brain atleast dont tell this to other candidate otherwise how he or she will feel that bcz first candidate left so they selected me).
I accepted their offer to show them their place.
I accepted and rejected offer just 1 hour before my joining time.
"They are shocked I am rocks :-P "
jokes apart..
previously i was calling them again and again just for updates..i wasnt asking to release offer letter..i was just expecting updates doesnt matter positive or negative. but they didnt behave professionaly.
if you dont want to select particular candidate bcz of any reason just tell them..just reject them...
dont behave like stupids..if u offering other candidate when ur candidate rejects ur offer atleast dont reveal ur stupid reason to candidate. hope you will learn some professional ethics
