      Independent Installer Interview

      9 Jul 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Richmond, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Elox Inc (Richmond, TX) in May 2017

      Interview

Standard interview process for this type of position. I had an initial interview with normal questions asked of me and information given. Then I was shown some products and their installation requirements. I was asked to return for company specific training which was not thorough and did not come anywhere close to the reality of the needs for the job. The person "training" me was exceptionally nice, but had never actually installed a lock. Weird. When I met with the managing partner, most of the fine points of the job were left out. The expectations that where made clear were later (after I had started) disregarded or made up as the situation changed.
