After you apply, they call your references. If they like what they hear from your reference, they call you in for an interview. They call you back into a conference room and seat you with a number of other interview candidates. When I interviewed, there were 2-3 supervisors and about 12 interviewees (interviewing for a variety of positions: Tour Guide; Food Service; Reception, etc.).
