      Paid Search Specialist Interview

      25 Jan 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Ciudad de Mexico
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Emma (Ciudad de Mexico) in Dec 2025

      Interview

I applied online, then was sent an online survey that took like 40 min, and was mostly logic and mathematics "games", Then there was a first interview with someone from HR, it was 30 minutes long and was very informative of the actual job, hiring process and what kind of work dynamics to expect. Then there was a 1 Hour interview with people from the marketing department, one of the two persons invited was late due to computer issues so the interview started with just one person, she was amicable and professional, then the second interviewer came in, she took over immediately and presented herself as a type of manager, this part was very confrontative, she was seemingly set on catching errors, she asked highly specific questions about the platforms, highly specific questions about the company itself and technical knowledge about PPC, she was not very interested on my experience and seemed more interested in poking holes at my resume and skills, one of the more negative interviews I've had, I became nervous and ended up floundering some of the questions, I was not called for the next interview.

      Question 1

What do you know about EMMA? What are the challenges of working for this company? How would you approach PPC for this company? How would you raise CTR/adjust Max Clicks in this specific scenario?
