I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Emma in Feb 2024
Interview
I applied to 2 positions in Emma relevant to my experience. I got an email invite for the interview but it didn't explicitly say for what role. I clarified with the HR and they never got back to me, so I only found out during my interview what role I was being interviewed for. Honestly not a big deal, but it felt weird being interviewed so casually. Interviewer was obviously Gen Z and kept replying to my answers with Gen Z lingo which was a bit funny and not professional to be honest. Their questions really test your on the spot thinking and creativity. She also never got back to me on the next interview, which is fine cos I got to know more about the company and it also did not fit where my career path has headed.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How will you encourage customers to buy directly from the site rather than 3rd party websites using only a pen, string, scissors?
Lots of consulting-type questions. I suggest preparing for this to get used to the line of questioning. Sample types: How many ping pong balls can fit in a Boeing airplane? What is x multiplied by x? The goal is not to have a correct answer, but for them to understand your line of thinking

Interview
wasted time, too much details on the step 1 of the pre-interview process, useless tasks that proves basically nothing, Anyway all was solved by me and they never replied even though my experience fit ideally to their profile.

el proceso es innecesariamente tedioso y complicado, dura todo un día que tienes que perder de trabajo. te hacen preguntas que no tienen absolutamente nada que ver con el puesto.
